FUNNY VOLLEYBALL: SMALL COURT, BIG PERSONALITIES
A pirate hat, an eyepatch, and a striped uniform are all possible sights across the net in Funny Volleyball. This arcade sports game puts round, capsule-shaped players on a small court, with a packed crowd, sweeping spotlights, and a flashing VS sign setting up the rivalry. Behind the playful presentation is a straightforward challenge: send the ball over the net and reach the required score before your computer opponent. Victories earn coins for new looks and match-changing power-ups. National teams and a tournament ladder give you more goals to pursue as your wins add up.
WIN THE RALLY WITH MOVEMENT AND TIMING
Use your mouse to play. Move around your side of the court, jump toward the ball, and hit it when it comes close. The computer controls the opposing player, so watch both the ball and your rival’s position before returning a shot.
Send the ball across the net before the opponent can reach it. Play continues until one side achieves the required score, with the first player to that total winning the match.
Keep Your Player Near the Action
Stay ready to move as the ball changes position. Time your jump around its approach, then focus on making contact and sending it back over. Watching where the rival stands can help you judge an opening during the rally.
SPEND YOUR WINNINGS IN THE STORE
Coins earned from wins appear in the upper-right corner. Spend them on character skins, balls, and power-ups. Choose the striped player, the scowling character, the pirate, or another available option.
Power-ups introduce different effects:
- A bigger head changes your character’s reach.
- An opponent-slowing effect interferes with the rival’s movement.
- A ball path hint helps you read its trajectory.
- A trampoline or bucket of slime adds another twist to the match.
Add Coins Through Tasks and the Wheel
Daily tasks award 500 coins each. Objectives include winning three matches, collecting ten victories, and taking first place in a tournament. Spin the wheel for extra coins to put toward store purchases or locked teams.
TAKE YOUR NATIONAL TEAM UP THE LADDER
Before each match, select a national team by its flag. Options include Algeria, Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and England. Teams have star ratings, and some require coins to unlock. Progress through Amateur, Semi-Pro, Super, Pro, Elite, and Epic on the tournament ladder.
