BALLS IN PAWS: A SEASIDE SHOWDOWN BETWEEN CATS
In Balls In Paws, the answer comes through volleyball. Paws send the ball across the net, tails flick above the sand, and a well-placed return can decide the next point. Play alone or bring a friend to join the seaside contest. Sorik and Zvezdochka have a beachside disagreement to settle: which cat is more agile? The backdrop shifts from a daytime beach to a sunset sky, while bonuses can change your cat’s abilities or the court itself. Winning matches earns victory stars, and new cat skins unlock during play.
WATCH THE BALL - AND THE BONUSES
Send the ball over the net and make it land on the opponent’s side to score. Bonuses lie across the court, and hitting one with the ball activates its effect. Their colors help you recognize the kind of change they introduce.
Green Bonuses Strengthen Your Player
Green effects can increase jump height, movement speed, or hitting power. They may also make your cat larger or confuse the opponent. Watch for a chance to strike one while keeping the ball in play.
Red Bonuses Make Control Harder
Red effects can reduce jumping ability, slow movement, weaken hits, or shrink the cat. Another effect makes the character hyperactive and difficult to control. When your movement changes, adjust your timing before attempting the next return.
Yellow Effects Transform the Court
Yellow bonuses affect the playing conditions. The ground may become slippery, the net can rise or fall, or darkness can cover the match. A special effect called Dusya also appears among these changes.
FOLLOW THE SCORE AND ROUND INDICATORS
The score sits at the top of the screen. Three glowing circles appear beside each name, and losing a round turns one circle dark. Check these indicators to follow how the match is progressing. Choose a solo match against another cat or play with a friend. In solo play, Pupa is your character. Cats with nicknames such as Sorik, Zvezdochka, and Pupa are part of the game’s lineup.
MOVEMENT CONTROLS FOR BOTH PLAYERS
- Player 1: Use WASD to move.
- Player 2: Use the arrow keys to move.
Position your cat to meet the incoming ball, then work toward a return that reaches the opposite side. Use pause whenever you need a break, or select the little house to return to the menu.
