FLIP PHYSICS: BUILD THE SWING, SHAPE THE STUNT
A strong swing gets you airborne, but your body position decides what happens next. Flip Physics is a skill-based gymnastics and parkour simulation built around manual control and realistic ragdoll physics. You control momentum, not an automated trick, you decide when to let go of the horizontal bar and you adjust your posture during flight. It’s about putting those movements into backflips, frontflips, twists. You can also do artistic poses and record the whole performance, so each run allows room for both technical practice and creative expression.
FROM THE HORIZONTAL BAR TO THE AIR
First swing to and fro, to get some momentum. Moving slowly also increases your swing amplitude, helping to shape the launch that comes next. Arching extends your movement, while tucking speeds up your rotation once you are airborne. Release timing connects the swing to the stunt. Even a small change can alter your height, direction, and number of rotations. Pay attention to how your athlete leaves the bar, then adjust your body position throughout the aerial sequence to prepare for landing.
Learn What Each Attempt Reveals
If a stunt goes wrong, look at the sequence that led to the fall. Did you build enough momentum? Did your release send you in the intended direction? Did you tuck for too long? Change one part of your next attempt so you can understand its effect. Practicing the swing before chasing extra rotations makes it easier to recognize which adjustments improve your control.
FLIP PHYSICS CONTROLS
Use the following inputs to start and control your athlete:
- Left click / Spacebar: Start
- J / Up Arrow: Arch
- K / Down Arrow: Tuck
- L / Left Arrow: Layout
- I / Right Arrow: Pike
- O: Flash
- U: Squat
- S: Stick
- Q: Twist left
- W: Twist right
These posture and rotation controls let you shape the performance throughout each stunt. Learning their effects is central to completing deliberate, controlled movements.
Regrab the Bar for Longer Combos
An aerial launch does not have to end your run. After completing a sequence, guide your athlete back toward the horizontal bar and time a successful catch. Regrabbing extends the play, creating possibilities for longer combos and higher scores. Before trying more complicated movements, get a repeatable launch and return. A cleaner sequence gives you a stronger foundation for extending the next attempt.
Grab the bar in Flip Physics, find your swing rhythm, and build a performance worth recording!
