Wave Rider is a true test of courage and skill. Here, you will control a surfboard across treacherous seas. The game follows an endless runner style. Your journey never ends until your board hits an obstacle. The primary goal for every player is to travel the furthest distance and set towering high-score records. Along the way, you must not only focus on dodging hurdles but also collect glittering seashells. These allow you to unlock new, more beautiful, and powerful vehicles. As you progress, the speed increases. Absolute focus and lightning-fast reflexes to avoid being swallowed by the waves.
PLAY INSTRUCTIONS
Upon entering Wave Rider, you will be overwhelmed by the vast lakes and rushing waterfalls. To move your character to the left side of the screen, press the left/A key. Conversely, to steer the surfboard to the right, press the right/D key. When encountering deep pits or sudden waterfalls, press the up/W key. Note that every key press must be rhythmic. If you hold the key too long, the character might overshoot and hit the edge. If you press too lightly, you won't have enough momentum to clear the obstacle.
Increasing difficulty over time
Initially, obstacles like logs or rocks appear sparsely so players can adjust to the speed. However, after passing a certain distance milestone, the frequency of obstacles becomes much denser. The movement speed increases significantly. This creates a constant loop of challenges that keeps players excited. Additionally, the sweet reward for your efforts is a variety of stylish new surfboards.

Keys to success
- Keeping the surfboard in the middle of the stream.
- Sometimes ignoring a few seashells will help you stay alive and travel a further distance.
- Watch from a distance to predict wave patterns and obstacle positions.
- Take advantage of straight paths to speed up and only steer when absolutely necessary.
- Regularly visit the shop to upgrade your surfboard. Expensive boards have better impact resistance and a smoother gliding speed.
