Become a talented national athlete to compete in various disciplines of Retro Sports Champion. Win prestigious gold medals and break previously established world records. The game world is designed in a retro style reminiscent of old-school gaming consoles. Your mission is to overcome six challenging multi-discipline events. Including the 100-meter sprint, weightlifting, javelin throw, 50-meter swimming, 110-meter hurdles, and long jump. However, not all events are unlocked from the beginning. Players will start their journey with the classic 100-meter sprint. Through winning and accumulating experience points, you can gradually unlock subsequent levels and sports events. Maintain absolute focus and an intense desire for victory to stand on the highest podium of glory!
THE ACTUAL PLAY
The game uses a control system mainly through the keyboard with operations that seem simple but demand very high technique. In racing events, the character needs to accelerate and dash forward. So, you will need to press the left arrow and right arrow keys continuously. The secret here is not just pressing as fast as possible but also creating a steady rhythm. If you press too chaotically, the character will not reach maximum speed.
For explosive events like the long jump or hurdles, the spacebar plays a critical role. Players must time it perfectly to press the spacebar. A press too early will make the character jump short of the mark. Pressing too late can lead to a collision and significantly reduce speed.
In the weightlifting event, coordination is even more complex. You have to press the arrow keys to gain strength while holding the spacebar to balance the barbell high up. In the swimming event, players must systematically press three keys smoothly: A, S, and D.

Levels of Retro Sports Champion
With the 100m sprint, 110m hurdles, and 50m swimming, players can play from the first level. But weight lifting requires reaching level four to unlock. Javelin throw requires reaching level five to unlock. Long jump requires reaching level six to play. Rowing needs to reach level seven to unlock. Finally, the 800m race needs players to reach the right level to join. This urges players to pass many levels and accumulate very high scores.

- Swim: Press three keys in order: A, S, D.
Short notes for play
- Javelin throw: The most ideal throwing angle usually sits at around 45° relative to the ground.
- Hurdles: Press the spacebar a bit earlier so the character can execute a smooth jump.
- Sprint: Start pressing keys the exact second the start signal appears. Being slow by even a millisecond can cause players to lose their leading advantage.
- Focus on maintaining a steady speed and only make a lightning-fast sprint at the final stage of the track.
- Practicing a single sports event over and over will help players memorize the rhythm and the body's natural reflexes.
